Le Balcon des Bauges is an independent duplex next to the family home of your hosts, Christelle and Luc, in La Motte-Servolex. The town borders Chambéry to the west, near the southern tip of Lake Bourget: the town centre and the beach at Le Bourget-du-Lac are each about 15 minutes away by car.
The duplex has two bedrooms, each with a double bed: one on the ground floor, the other on a mezzanine reached by a fairly steep miller’s ladder. The sofa bed in the living room sleeps two more on request. The kitchen is fully equipped, bed linen and towels are provided, and Wi-Fi and parking are free.
Outside, the garden and its loungers look onto a 5 × 11 m salt-water pool, open from 10am to 8pm in summer. The view goes all the way round: the Bauges cliffs from the Croix du Nivolet to Mont Revard, Mont Granier, the Belledonne range and the Dent du Chat.
The duplex suits couples, families, spa-cure guests in Aix-les-Bains or Challes-les-Eaux, and people travelling for work.

It is reached by a fairly steep miller’s ladder. It suits adults and children who climb confidently, not toddlers or people with reduced mobility. The ground-floor bedroom is step-free.
